Stonegate on Superior is a family owned resort by residents of the North Shore. We grew up in the area and have lived here all our lives. We hope that when you stay with us you will love and appreciate the shore as much as we do!
Check-in is from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Check out is 10am. Please let us know if you will be late for arrival and we will try to make accommodations. Unfortunately we do not offer late checkouts.

Each cabin has its own maximum number of people. It is very important that our guests disclose all of the people staying at the cabin or we will have to ask guests to leave. Children are people, please do not exclude them!
Stonegate on Superior is a private resort and we expect only registered guests on our property. There are plenty of public areas close to the resort to get together with friends and family that are staying in the area.
All cancellations made over 30 days from reservation will get a refund of your deposit minus a $75.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel your reservations less than 30 days you will forfeit your deposit. If you have paid in full you will forfeit all money that is pre-paid. Stonegate on Superior cannot be held responsible for any weather condition, family emergency, or illness. Our cancellation policy is firm.
Stonegate on Superior is a quiet family resort. We intentionally do not have televisions so our guests can experience nature and each others company. We do have high speed internet at the resort for those who really have to stay connected!
Stonegate is located north of Knife River on Scenic 61. As you drive north out of Duluth, you will have a choice of the expressway to Two Harbors or Scenic 61. If you take the expressway you will turn right at the Knife River exit, go to the stop sign and turn left 1.6 miles north to the resort. If you take Scenic 61 you will go 15 miles from the end of London Road. Stonegate is 1.6 miles north of the Knife River.

Our rates are based on two guests. After two we charge an additional $15 per night each additional guest. Please make sure you let us know before checking in if you have changes in the amount of guests. We never allow more than the occupancy of the cabin. If you show up with more than our stated occupancy or extra guests you will be turned away without any refund.
In certain situations we do allow less than 3 nights. This does require you to call or make an inquiry at the bottom of page GET IN TOUCH section. Below are a few examples of when we will make an exeption.
